THE 5 GOLDEN
CARE RULES
How to keep your lingerie proper and neat

It can make or break your outfit: your underwear. We even dare to state that lingerie determines your self-esteem during the day. Well, influences it at least. And with a drawer full of these confidence-boosters, you want them to last. The shape, the material, the colour; the 10th time you're wearing it must be just as special as it was the very first time. We've compiled a 5 rule list to make sure your lingerie stays gorge. It's far from rocket-science. We just need a little reminder every now and then.

1. HAND PROGRAM

We choose hand washing programs or delicate programs over actually washing by hand. The machine is often more careful than the human hand. We tend to rub & wring out the bra with coarse force, which makes it possible to break the fibers and tear the lace.

2. EASY ON DETERGENT

Overdosing on detergent doesn’t mean your laundry will become cleaner. Even the opposite is true for white laundry. The optical whiteners will actually make your lace look gray. So skip the whiteners and dose like it’s prescribed. Even better, detergent for delicates contain special ingredients that are mild for the fabric and provide extra care. Shop our carefully picked detergent below!

3. WASHING BAGS

Always use a washing bag for both your bra's as your panties to protect them against buttons, velcro and zippers of your other pieces of clothing.

4. HOOK UP

Attach the hooks of your lingerie to each other before washing before putting it in your laundry bag. This will prevent damage from contact with other garments. Never wash your lingerie with jeans or other heavy materials and don't fill up your washing machine completely.

5. DRY FLAT

It's always best to remove your lingerie from the washing machine immediately after washing and allow it to air dry completely. To avoid damaging your bra, dry it flat (horizontally) on a laundry drying rack.
